Peeling Fingertips?

Never a dull moment with our youngest -
Thursday ended with a tooth extraction 🦷
Friday morning started with a diagnosis of hyperimmune

It has been quite a whirlwind since returning from a 6 week trip to Hawaii last summer (take me back!!)
Isn’t it interesting how we frame time, we find ourselves saying around our house “since Hawaii” a lot.
But yes we did spend 6 weeks in Hawaii this last summer be sure to check it out in highlights!

Ok back to peeling fingertips……
We feel that we get this when we ask questions? 🤷‍♀️

What does a hyperimmune system mean for our 10-year-old daughter going forward? 🤷‍♀️
So you’re saying the only thing we need to be looking for is a fever, if she has one we need to see you asap?

Why were her fingers peeling?
Why are her siblings fingers peeling?

It is repose from having MISC and it shows that she was recently exposed to VID, it is just a reaction.
What about her siblings fingers they didn’t have MISC…… well the Dr thinks that maybe they had a MISC reaction too just not as severe as Madisyn who was in the ICU.

Ok, so we just live our lives normal moving forward?

Oh my! Leaving this mama with not a lot of answers, but my kids with peeling fingertips. Thankful they kids say it is NOT painful just more annoying than anything.
I do feel like VID has put us all through feeling like this 🤷‍♀️ but I’m a little mama bear when it comes to my kids.

A rant and vent, everyone is fine, but seriously what’s next?

Thankful for the weekend, thankful for sunshine, thankful for friends who are medicine for the soul!
